Basalt rock dust

Basalt rock dust contains all the 72+ essential minerals & trace elements for the functioning of a healthy soil in which plants can thrive.

Millions of years ago, the earth's soils were created by glacial activity during the ice age, when the glaciers ground the mineral-rich rock underneath. When the glaciers melted these new beds of freshly ground rock contained all the minerals & trace elements necessary for the foundation of good soil. The result was an incredible richness
of life. The trees in the ancient forests of Europe and America were huge – often over 30m to the first branches!

After centuries of pollution and mechanised agriculture, our soils are a shadow of what they once were. Trace elements are often particularly low in soils because they leach away so quickly. These minerals are essential for the good bacteria and microorganisms to thrive. 

Add approximately 1 cup per medium sized pot plant. Top-up every 3 months.
