Regular price R 149.00 Save R -149.00A beautiful and rare succulent shrublet, Cotyledon woodii is found in its natural habitat growing from sheer cliff faces along the Bashe river in the Eastern Cape. The plant is similar to its cousin Cotyledon pendens, but growing slightly more upright and bushy. It makes for a perfect hanging basket, pot or grown on a rocky slope where its hanging branches and flowers can dangle free.
Available in 14cm grow pot. Decorative pots sold separately.

Bright light by a north facing window indoors. Full sun to semi-shade outdoors. Read more about caring for succulents here
Water well once the soil has completely dried out.
Feed once during the growing season with a balanced fertiliser.
Re-pot if it starts to outgrow its container. Use only a succulent mix.
Try not to get water in the centre of the plant, but water directly into the soil.
Cotyledon woodii grows among rocks on south-facing cliffs in a predominantly summer rainfall region (therefore let it dry out more in winter and water regularly in summer). The grey green leaves are covered in a powdery bloom, which is an adaptation to its dry habitat. The flowers are pollinated by sunbirds.
