One of the most quintessential succulents, the Echeveria Purple Pearl seems to glow with a different pastel hue every time you look. In summer, tall flower spikes topped with coral buds complete its striking looks.

Caring for Echeverias

Light

Bright light by a north facing window indoors. Full sun to semi-shade outdoors. Read more about caring for succulents here

Water & humidity

Water well once the soil has completely dried out.

Feeding

Feed once during the growing season with a balanced fertiliser. These are slow growing so don't need much food.

Re-potting

Re-pot if it starts to outgrow its container. Use only a succulent mix.

Atrium Top Tip

Try not to get water in the centre of the rosette, but water directly into the soil.

Echeveria is a genus of around 150 succulents in the Stonecrop family (Crassulacea), found all over the world from Texas to South Africa.
