Bright indirect light. The brighter the light, the more vibrant the leaf colour
Water once a week. Allow top layer of soil to dry out between waterings. Calypso is not too phased about humidity, but he likes warm tropical nights - keep him away from cold draughts.
Feed with 1 organic Canola Meal sachet 2-3 times in summer.
Re-pot to only one pot size up in spring, if necessary. Normal potting soil will do.
If Calypso’s leaves drop he’s likely suffering from cold. Place him in a warmer spot. New leaves will be green before they gain colour.
Native to Malaysia and the Pacific, Croton trees reach a height of 6m in the wild. Occasionally they produce white flowers.
