Epipremnum aureum
Regular price R 189.00 Save R -189.00Also known botanically as Scindapsus aureum, Goldie is one of the most popular houseplants around. It's not hard to see why - her cascading tendrils and brightly marbled leaves are a sight to behold. Trail them around a bookshelf or windowsill, or let them dangle from a shelf or plant stand. The Golden Pothos is also really easy to care for too! The Pothos is a NASA approved air-purifying plant.
Comes in a 20cm hanging grow pot. The plastic hook can be unclipped. Decorative pots and plant hangers sold separately.
*The Pothos can be toxic to pets & small children if ingested.

Goldie likes medium light. Light that's too bright will scorch leaves. Too little light and the plant will get leggy (sticky) with fewer leaves growing on the vines. An east-facing window is ideal.
Let the top 3cm of soil dry out between watering. The Pothos hates soggy roots. It will tell you when it needs water when the leaves start to droop. Black spots on the leaves or the sudden decline of the plant is usually due to over-watering. Goldie is tolerant of low humidity.
The Pothos is not a heavy feeder, but will enjoy a monthly snack on Canola Meal fertiliser.
Goldie may need re-potting every year. When the leaves droop no matter how often you water, the roots have probably filled the pot. Choose a container one size larger and use fresh potting soil.
It's a good idea to prune your Pothos regularly to keep it looking bushy.
The Pothos removes formaldehyde and benzene fumes, which are often found in newly painted or furnished rooms. They also remove carbon monoxide from the air, increasing oxygen levels, boosting concentration, mood, energy levels & improving sleep.
